Temporary Intermission

I am sad to report that my little Kodak EasyShare CX6230 is on its last legs. The battery door broke today (actually, a little hook that keeps the batter door in place), making it almost impossible to keep the batteries in place to give it power.

It's been a good run: almost 2 years and many, many pictures. I'll do my best to keep using it (and posting) until I can replace it.

campanile #2

Once again, I find myself on a campus with a campanile. Except this one doesn't have bells: it's actually some kind of ventilation for an underground parking garage. But they still call it a campanile (or two?). 

I don't know where this frog came from...

but I know I've had him at least since sometime when I lived in Kansas. And now I think he is my little study buddy. He has a scholarly air about him.
