I still love this picture
Almost forgot to mention here: we just celebrated our two year Nilla-versary (we met her the Friday after Thanksgiving and she came home the next Monday). She still makes us smile every single day.

Forgive me for posting a ridiculous number of photos of one parade.
Parade theme 1: dogs. Here are some English sheepdogs and their... toy soldiers?
I am glad my high school band uniforms did not look like this:
Cowboys:
Reindeer on unicycles. I guess if they can fly they can unicycle.
Impressive job of staying in straight lines (look at those diagonals!).
Following a sign that said, "Hope your holidays are dino-mite!":
Scotties:
Giant Scotty:
Yep, we really like dogs here in Seattle:
And, finally, a gingerbread house:
I had a blast.

Kinnear: my contribution
I've been trying to get a good picture of this bus for awhile now. It's a little complicated to explain. It may make a little sense if you read this blog entry by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, and then a follow-up explanation here. See also the bottom of this wikipedia page (the "pop culture references" section - "to kinnear").
