went to a booksigning this evening. a dorky thing to do, but i love these blogger/authors!

finished objects

yesterday i remembered that i bought the yarn for this project (clapotis) the day that i finished the bar exam in july. i finished knitting it last night while watching a movie at my friend rachel's house. today i got my exam results (i passed!). this scarf/wrap kept me company while i was waiting.

Daiso

I found my way to Daiso this week, a Japanese dollar (yen?) store in downtown Seattle. I couldn't resist the combination of goofy translations + cute characters on these notepads. Daiso is awesome!
